I saw it. And while many of the views were interesting, they did speak to members of the church. They also spoke to many who are ex-members or anti, so I guess in that light they were trying to be balanced. However, I found that it was mostly regurgitated stuff that's been trampled for years.

I saw it. I am Mormon and thought it was pretty well-balanced. There were a lot of things in it that were fair and true. They did, however, spend a lot of time on negative things and I think there were some topics where they let a critic of the Church have the final word instead of letting Mormons speak for themselves. But I do think they made some effort to get both sides of the story.

Depends what it is, chances are you are not aware of a lot of the stuff against Mormonism because you are sheltered from it in the church. You are never shown the bad side of things. Nowadays you would not make claims against a powerful BUSINESS like the mormon church without backing up you claims , otherwise you would be sued for defamatin,so chances are it is true. I am wary however and would never say it is word for word true until I saw it.

I did not see it, but I recorded it. What are you saying is not true, the religion or what they said in the movie? The teachings of Joseph Smith are true. We do have modern prophets to guide us, just as there were of old. His calling is not of any different than some of the ancient prophets. Many of them had unexplainable expeiences and miracles occur. The unbelief is just the same as well. I know that he was a prophet of God, and that the truths which he restored are God's truth. We can be with our families forever, and we can progress eternally. Christ atoned for our sins, and died for us. He is God's Son who loves us as well. I have felt the Holy Ghost testify of all of these things.

I watched the first five minutes and was byond digusted. It was overly biased and not backed up with factual information. THe LDS memebers DO NOT look to Joseph Smith as the Alpha and Omega.

I am not so sure myself.
I am waiting to see Part II. I am interested in the doctrines, the secrets in the Temples, and those gold plates that tell it all.
Only one more hour before it comes on tonight.

I heard that it wasn't very well done, considering that they didn't actually talk to Mormons. I mean, isn't that kind of strange? When they do specials about Catholics, don't they try to talk to Catholics? Don't we deserve the same consideration? That's just stupid.
