I dont think about it at all, neither should you. people are people, some good some bad, and we all come in different colours and sizes. And uk is just a small small small bit of the world ... there's more to it, ye kow ?

what really matters is the good / bad thingy .... cappice ?

White British became an ethnic minority in the Saxon invasions of the 5th and 6th centuries AD, although in some areas they had become a minority in the Roman period.
Add the Vikings, Normans, and more recent immigrants to the mix and you probably have about 5% at most of the population who have actual British ancestry. I know for a fact some of my ancestors were Danish or Norwegian Vikings who came over in the 10th or 11th century so my family are not White British - we are partly Scandinavian.

Anyway I am very interested in how British culture keeps changing and evolving. Did you know that London has the most different kinds of Islamic Mosque of any city in the world? How fantastic is that!
I like the idea of being able to try foods from all over the world. I love curries, Mexican food, Thai, Chinese, and Yorkshire pudding (of course).
I also love international films and music so a more diverse population would help my DVD and Cd collection grow.

There are, of course, some negative sides to multiculturalism but these can be avoided if everyone respects eachother's traditions and lifestyle and if people spend more time learning about British history and social structure.

Anyway that is my opinion on that.

I'm not sure if its a problem whites becoming fewer and fewer. Its not colour of skin that causes problems, its attitude. I see black, asian, chinese scandanavian people walking around all the time. I feel no threat and i don't see this as a porblem. Its cultures that are taking over that is an issue. Why did you want to move to Britain if you're going to live in essentially a country away from your one of origin. Why do you fee lthe need to refuse to learn English, you cannot expect a country to change to suit your needs, you must change to suit the countries needs. By this reckoning i also feel that any Biritsh who emmigrate to spain or france should actively learn the language there and adhere to the local cultures.

It's the fact that so much emphasis is put on colour that causes all the problems, people are too afraid of being branded a biggot if they say something people may take out of context so everyone is avoiding each other. It is creating anemosity between different enthic groups and escalating the situation. I would have no problem if half of my village were to suddenly move out and be replaced by all different ethnic groups. What i would object to is being told i'm no longer welcome because i'm a minority, or made to feel so.

We are close to a minority at the moment. Ok that was a bit of a hasty answer.
If the so called Government does not do something about this then I would say give it another fifteen years and we will be the minority.

We should be like the Australians you cannot come in unless you have a job/career and you have to support yourself.

what is "white"? many blokes what don't know their ancestral lore think in abstracts like black and white. I am a Burton of Wales, a Hutchinson and a McGee. My Huntley ancestors brought back an Arab princess or two after the crusades, my Otte people of Ilsenberg Deutschland were traders on the river Rhine before the ten tribes sacked Rome. I go to the WELS church in me town but I asks the Pastor before I ever even thought of worshiping with his flock,"my great gran says ye's a pretty conservative lot, my question is this, what is the (your) churche's position on race relations?"
The Wisconsin farmboy didn't miss a beat and says all Irish like, "If you'd have been in Church last Sunday and heard my sermon you'd know there is only one race, Human."
Don't know if that is answer enough, just wish folks would look within a bit more, we would all be the better for it. Blessings my fellow travelers.

I live in the extreme South and cannot remember when I last saw a black face.
The only immigrants that I have seen are a couple of white South Africans. They seem very much like us. In fact they are of British decent.
Why worry about colour you all go to the beach to tan anyway.
Why not marry a dark lady,if you can find one that will have you and make children with a natural tan. Even then it will not happen in 1000 years. The above figures are correct and we don't look overrun when you look at them.

I thought we already were, judging by the fact that every time i go into any major town it seems I'm in the minority, even where i live I've started to see a lot more African and Muslims within the local area, so where are all the whites going ? Its no good relying on the Government statistics, as they have no idea how many illegal immigrants are here

Tell you what, lets make it law that everyone has to have at least one child with someone not of their own race. Give it a few hundred years, we'll all be the same colour, give or take a lighter or darker shade!
Hey presto, no different ethnic groups, so all you little BNP freaks can't be accused of racism any more! You'll just have to hate everyone including yourselves!!

Wont happen, there will be a civil war before that happens. Although the white birthrate is diminishing and ethnic minorities birthrates increasing, the influx of eastern Europeans have added to the white gene pool.

well, I was born and raised in London but Armenian origins. I have seen the gradual change in the nation and i dont like it. Yes, multiculturism is good BUT not when it dilutes that country's culture. I see more foreign take away joints than i do fish and chip shops. Sometimes when i go to certain areas i feel like i need to show my passport. How many union jacks or st georges flags do u see in the air, hardly any, why, coz it might offend other nationalities????? Excuse me this is England, why should the Nations religion, culture, way of life offend anyone, if i dont like it, i can go.
Im not racist, im forgein myself but having lived here all my life i also see the UK as my home and being such a fantastic nation it upsets me to see less and less English people in their own city ( i refer to london).....

it'll be a hell of a long time yet! in the town where i live there are only a couple of muslims, about 10 chinese only a couple black and half a dozen sikh, its spot the minority up here you never see any and i live in a pretty big ex mining town. come to think of it you hardly see any different races in northumberland unless you're in hospitals or food shops (nothing discriminating meant)
