I'm planning my Caribbean cruise.
Once I land at Ft. Lauderdale how long will it take to get to Princess line Port?
If the boat is scheduled to leave at noon, when should I get to the boat?
Thanks.

I personally would highly recommend arriving at Ft. Lauderdale the day BEFORE your cruise and stay at a nearby hotel. Most hotels in Ft. Lauderdale have a complimentary shuttle to the cruiseport.

In case of plane delays, you might miss the cruise if you plan arrive the day of your cruise. It takes a lot out of the hassle if you arrive the day before and stay in Ft. Lauderdale overnight and take the hotel shuttle to the cruiseport. Lot of people do this.

The port in Ft Lauderdale is about 15 to 25 minutes from the Ft Lauderdale airport, depending upon traffic. Actually the airport is almost directly across I-95 from the port.

That's an early in the day departure for a cruise, most leave late in the afternoon around 6:00 PM. Check to be sure that you read the departure time correctly. Most ships get into port at 6:00 AM have all of the passengers depart and get the ship ready to go again later that day.

If the noon time is correct you need to be checking in at least an hour before departure time. I just got my cruise document for my cruise in 2 weeks and they said they will close the gangway 30 minutes before departure. So give yourself plenty of time and get there two (2) hours early. That port does have a lounge so you can sit and have a potty place if you get there really early (3 hrs ahead of time) and have to wait to board.

I do suggest that you check again the departure time; that may be the time that they want you to arrive at the port, its generally no earlier than noon.
