If you are planning on adopting, use the official AKC sponsored rescue organization noted by the poster above.
If you are looking for a breeder, do not shop online. Go to dog shows, talk to people showing the dogs and find out who bred the dogs. Contact the official AKC breed club, join and lget to know the members. From there, you will get better recommendations. Online breeders are often puppy mills or backyard breeders and are often not legit.

Try the English Bulldog Rescue Groups - they will have some fine animals who have been resocialized and now receive excellent care. Rescue dogs make wonderful pets!

If you want to rescue an english bulldog you can go to http://www.petfinder.com/ to search for dogs who are in animal shelters and rescue groups in your area. You can search based on breed, size, age, and gender. I think this only works for people who live in the US and Canada. Good Luck with your search, and I hope this helps. I also LOVE english bulldogs!!!

Try 'petfinder.com' choose one in your state and actually meet them. But remember that you have to be 18 or over. OR you can go with an adult too to meet the person. So do that...but that's just my way of making sure they aren't scammers

When in doubt, go through the AKC website . They list all sorts of reputable breeders, and rescue groups as well.

puppyfind.com i got my jrt from their make sure u pay through paypal though... and make sure u speak to thsi person and ask her if she has anyone u can speak to that has bought something from them.. it took me over 3 months to find my JRT i paid for him and was giving a recit sp? as soon as the dog was paid for... i also spoke with this lady for a week or two asking her billions og questions good luck and be careful
