how do you get a shy guy to talk to you if your a shy girl,we talked for bout 10mins cause i was brave to do so but,i wanted candy so i bought candy from him and asked him bbbout band we talked.we both smiled all the way through.and i really like him. i want him to ask me to prom.

Hello, I am a shy guy also, so this may come in handy to you. There is this girl I like also, and she happens to be shy like me, which is a bummer. But there is only one thing to do, first, read up on body language signs that will tell you if he likes you, then, you should get him to ask you to prom. Thing is, that I, like many others, am really shy and end up not talking to and ignoring in a way, the girl I like. You need him to start feeling more comfortable around you, which means that you need to work up more courage, talk to him whenever you bump into each other, say hi if you see him in the hallway, though, do not stalk him as you may come off as needy. Bottom line, he needs to feel comfortable around you, and the easiest way to do this is to start the conversation with him first, I guarantee he will most likely continue along with it, just force yourself to talk to him. Also, another way to get him to feel more comfortable is knowing the other person more, ask him what he likes to do, what he likes, etc., get to know him more, it will make him feel more confortable and open. If all else fails, you may have to ask him to Prom yourself... I hope this helped you... and btw, I may be shy, but I just recently overcame my fear and started talking to the girl I like, I know she likes me, so I say Hi when I see her, smile, use eye contact, etc., also, I ask her about herself when we talk, so I know a little bit about her already... Another thing is that you may also want to get a friends help too, have the friend sorta push him into asking you or something... you could have the friend tell him you like him too, so he knows you will say yes. If he is interested in you, he will show it one way or another. This usually comes out of his body language, so watch his body language closely. Forgot to say too, if he likes you (make sure you document how he acts around you first, to determine if he likes you), he will probably say yes to you if you ask him to Prom (I give it an 80% chance of him saying yes if he likes you). Don't be afraid to make the first move, sometimes that is what is needed for the relationship first. Best of luck to you.

Think of it this way. Would you have the courage to ask him to the prom. If the answer is no then its likely the same for him. Strike up a conversation about something you both have in common, even if the only thing in common that you have is that you are both in the same place at the same time.
Practice makes perfect, The more you talk the more natural it will feel. Soon you will be able to ask him out :)

It doesn't matter who makes the first move. The important thing is that a move takes place.
As a shy person, you already know that sometimes you have to step outside your comfort zone to get what you want. This would be a perfect example of those times.

As him to sit with you lunch then ask him to prom. You'll feel very nervous, your heart will be pounding like you're running track but you'll get an answer

sry i aint a guy but i think i can help! just take it a step further flirt a little and talk about the prom more ask him if he already has a date. thats not asking him out he wil ask u out..

I think anyguy that is in your age bracket would be so flattered to be asked out.......i know being formally shy when I was your age, that it was hard to do.........but if a girl asks a guy out.......it really is much easier. Obviously he likes you, by what you are saying so go for it........:) Good luck!!

but u keep doin yur thang girl, dont be shy, be outgoing cuz if u dont make the moves, well, sumone has to rite?
u need to get his number/screename and all that and talk to him as much as possible
