I was approaching the girl I liked today when I clearly showed signs of nervousness (uncontrolled shaking, a bit of stuttering) while exchanging contact information. Although I did get through and end the conversation with a normal "bye", I am not sure if I had blown it.

Did I blow it, or am I going to be fine?

If she likes you, then if anything she'll see the nervousness as cute, unless she's your average dirtbag girl, in that case then no you're screwed. You exchanged info which basically means yea she has some interest in you, although the sure way to find out if she's interested, call her a few times, then don't call her for a day or two, if she calls you then you're set, if she doesn't call in a day or two to say heyyy where ya been I missed you? or just to say HEYYY then you're **** outta luck buddy. I have a habit of dropping **** (mug of coffee, car keys... etc etc) when around my GF but oh well, she knows it's cause I love her haha. Hope this helps some.

Id say no. When a guy approaches me who is clearly having a hard time i find it flattering. My current boyfriend could barely look me in the eye, weve been together 3 years. But I have a soft spot for nice guys. Try to work on your confidence its not the same for all girls some like the take charge kinda guy. But not overly cocky cause they youll com off as a dick.

secret formula to finding and keeping a GOOD woman=be honest, be genuine, be a friend, at times a father, brother and son, and most of all, be yourself.

Anything less is a waste of your time here.
The point of life is to build up others by building up yourself.

Life has endless equations with endless possibilities. There's no such thing as blowing it, when there's no such thing as protocol.

You didn't blow it. Girls know, man. They know when you're nervous and when you're not. You've just set yourself up for success my friend. The next conversation, when you get the kahunas to have it will be an apology to her because you were nervous because "you think she's great and beautiful and..." whatever. I think you get my point. You rock and you know you do. I know guys that play it off like they're nervous just to set themselves up for later. She knows you like her and are nervous around her now and that's a good thing.

If I was her, I would think you were sweet for approaching me and talking to me despite your nervousness. That shows you really must like her. I think you are going to be just fine.

Take care, and good luck to you!! :)

Maybe. But some girls think that kind of thing is cute, so maybe eveything is okay. She might have been just as nervous but played it off better. If she thinks you are lame for that sort of thing, then she is shallow and not worth the trouble.

A few things could happen. You may have thought the situation worse than it actually was, and she didn't pick up on your nerves. She could have noticed and found it endearing. In any event, don't chalk it up to a loss just yet. If you like her, pursue her.

I think your okay... as long as being nervous isn't something you do all the time. It may actually work in your favor. She might think it was cute. But you can't have another episode like that again. Good luck.

dont worry about, have abit more confidence in urself, i dont think u blew it, if you keep getting nervous like this then try pretending that ur in a play acting. i mean think about what actors/actresses go through...anyway point is dont pressure urself. try not to worry, im pretty certain things will be okay.
goodluck hun. =]
