There are many similarities between the story of the Egyptian God Horus and the story of Jesus the Christ. However the story of Horus existed long before the story of Jesus. Is it possible the authors of the Jesus story copied in part or all of the story of Horus?

1500 years. Jesus plagiarized it because the material was too old for him to get sued for copyright infringements.

--Horus was born of the virgin Isis-Merion December 25 in a cave/manger with his birth being announced by a star in the East and attended by three wise men.
--His earthly father was named “Seb” (“Joseph”).
--He was of royal descent.
--At at 12, he was a child teacher in the Temple, and at 30, he was baptized having disappeared for 18 years.
--Horus was baptized in the river Eridanus or Iarutana (Jordan) by “Anup the Baptizer” (“John the Baptist”), who was decapitated.
--He had 12 desciples, two of who were his “witnesses” and were named “Anup” and “Aan” (the two “Johns”).
--He performed miracles, exorcised demons and raised El-Azarus (“El-Osiris”), from the dead.
--Horus walked on water.
--His personal epithet was “Iusa,” the “ever-becoming son” of “Ptah,” the “Father.” He was thus called “Holy Child.”
--He delivered a “Sermon on the Mount” and his followers recounted the “Sayings of Iusa.”
--Horus was transfigured on the Mount.
--He was crucified between two thieves, buried for three days in a tomb, and resurrected.
--He was also the “Way, the Truth, the Light,” “Messiah,” “God’s Anointed Son,” “the “Son of Man,” the “Good Shepherd,” the “Lamb of God,” the “Word made flesh,” the “Word of Truth,” etc.
--He was “the Fisher” and was associated with the Fish (“Ichthys”), Lamb and Lion.
--He came to fulfill the Law.
--Horus was called “the KRST,” or “Anointed One.”
--Like Jesus, “Horus was supposed to reign one thousand years.”

Horus was the husband and brother to Isis. Isis's father was Osiris. Osiris was one of the "fallen ones", the Nephillim. The 1/3 angels that were cast down from heaven with Lucifer.

Horus is a demon, a fallen angel. Just google Osiris for pictures and you will see they all come up as Osiris as green. Green? Why? Cause he was a Nephillim. The same thing we call the little green men in UFOs. Sorry, just the Nephillim. And same people the bible talks about in Genesis and other parts when it says " the men of old, the men of renown ", those are the Nephillim. They more or less make up Ancient Egypt. This is why God called His people out of Egypt, away from these evil creatures. These Nephillim are also why God flooded the world with Noah, to kill them off. But as you can see with the UFOs in the sky, they are still here. And the abductions are true, the Nephillim are farming humans for food. Now this might sound nutty, but history tells us these Nephillim ate humans, and that is documented in the Bible and mans history books. Get into it all, its deep and neat at the same time. All the stuff mainly school taught us is wrong cause they could never include the bible side of the story. But dig into it, pull up names, pull up pics, you'll see more green ones than just Osiris. These are also the Frog People the bible speaks of and the same Reptile Alien species the UFO guys talk about.

I am an ex atheist of 30 yrs, yet today I am on the other side. Not as a bible thumper or as a "christian" but as a truth seeker for God, cause there is so much there that man doesn't know or has pieced together yet.

The archetype of the dying/reborn god was prevalent in the Middle East before Christ, and probably did feature in the building up of the Christian/Jewish messiah prophecy that the Christ supposedly fulfilled.

The Persian god Mithras is a more likely candidate for the basis of the Christian belief system than the Osiris/Isis/Horus story.

I'm not clear what your sources of information are, but I'm afraid you may be operating under some misapprehension.

The mother of Horus was Isis, who, after the murer of Osiris, collected the pieces of his body and through her magic became pregnant with the son of Osiris - Horus. This might be interpreted as "virgin" birth, but virginity was never explicity associated with Isis in ancient Egypt.

Horus was born in a papyrus thicket in the Delta called Akh-bity which translates as "Papyrus thicket of the King of Lower Egypt"

I am unaware of any tradition of Horus having died. He did battle with his uncle, the god Set to avenge his father's murder. In that battle, Set damaged his eyes, but they were repaired - thus their significance in Egyptian iconography.

I am also unaware of any tradition of Horus having been baptized or of a specific point at which he "came of age."

The images of Isis and the infant Horus are not surprising, as Isis became an immensely popular goddess throughout the western world in antiquity, especially in her aspect as a mother goddess.

Yes, I did know that. The story of Mithras also predates Jesus and is very similar to Horus as well as Jesus. (who came first Horus or Mithras? I'm not sure but I do know they both came long before Jesus)
I have been saying for a long time now that the bible is full of myths and legends from around the area, so this helps to make my point. Thank you for further proof.

Just because some narratives share a similiarity doesnt mean they are all right or all wrong. For instance, when cops interview witnesses to a crime, there is inevtiably always a liar on the scene as well as a person telling the truth. Their stories may share some similairity, but ultimately they are going to believe the person telling the truth and will expose the liar.

With all due respect, you dont need scientific proof to believe in God, nobody does. People dont deny God because of what is or isnt in their minds, they deny God because of what is in their hearts. Once you have that faith though in your heart, GOD will PROVE himself to you by answering your prayers an even do miracles as much as your faith will allow. But if you dont appraoch God by faith, neither will you approach him by science.

He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead. -Luke 16:31

Pick a feature - any feature - of the "Christian" religion, and I can give you its pre-Christian, "pagan" analogue. Christianity is nothing more than radically reformed Judaism with pagan bells and whistles added to appeal to a wider audience. It's a syncretic hotch-pot of theories and practices of the various mystery cults that were competing for hegemony in the early centuries of the "Christian" era. The priests got together and came up with the idea of the Trust. Why worship Bacchus or Horus or Mithras or Adonis etc when you can worship one god whose cult comprehends all their features?

If horus was the same story why didnt a religion pop out of it? and did you know the Story of Christ is even in the stars. The constelations were long before the egyptians. Every culture sees the same constelations look it up.

Well, lets see.....Moses was located in WHAT COUNTRY again?? Egypt you say? Well, that about takes care of that, doesnt it??

Noah was also a King of Babylon long before the Bible was compiled as well. He was forced to build a boat that he could float away on with his family, due to being unable to pay debts he owed....so, it was originally an allegory for paying your debts, turned into an allegory for what happens when you piss off God.

Christians will argue that Horus was the counterfeit (even though he is much older). But there are also striking similarities with Mithras, Hermes, Dionysus, Buddha, etc. You would think they would have been original about even one thing. Nope, didn’t happen.
