I am getting married in the Valley of Fire outside of Las Vegas. Here is the dress I'm going to wear:

I think that you need to just take your best friend (maid of honor?) and your mom or another close friend who's opinion you trust and just go around and try on dresses. Even if you pick up that you think is a definite no, try it on! You'll be surprised what a "no" dress looks like on a real body! Overall, just make sure that YOU like the dress. Your wedding day is about you and your husband, so overall you should feel comfortable, and most importantly, beautiful in your dress!
But, here are my two favorite dresses that I am trying to decide between. I like a little color on my dresses, and the coloring will be Apple red. I'm going in about two weeks to try dresses on! Hopefully, I'll have a blast and find my dress!

Mine is being made up to a pattern that I found, I have pasted the pattern but the dress has been modified a bit, and also it is shown here in green while my dress is blue. The top part is also not as sweet heart as shown here. It's not a traditional wedding dress at all, my wedding is small and informal so I felt a less formal dress was more appropriate.

My gown was very traditional with long sleeves, scoop neck, Basque waistline leading to a full shirt and medium train, of heavy bridal satin. Had embellishments of crystals, pearls, sequins, beading and lace appliques. Wore a crystal and pearl tiara and fingertip veil. When I tried it on, I knew right away - I looked like a princess, and I don't have the best figure but it just did "something" for me! If you feel good, you look great!

My wedding dress was kinda like this, but not exactly, I wanted a replica of my mom's wedding dress just a little updated. My mom actually made it herself. I'm trying to find a picture of it online, but I cant seem to find one.
Well, I couldnt find one, but I did my best to draw one in paint. This is kinda what the dress looked like (to the best of my drawing ability):

I wore this one. it fit me like a glove, Didn't need any alterations except a bustle, and I felt like a princess! Good luck finding yours, you'll know when you put on 'the one'!
