What are we atheists supposed to do? Just take it? Allow people to pray to an imaginary being using a method that's only an illusion?

Suppose for the sake of argument , why does this bother you? what does it do to you if someone else prays to whatever it is they believe in? What does Atheism have to offer that we should jump on the bandwagon of nothing going to nowhere? Maybe we don't all agree on particulars about our religions but at the very least we have a belief. And yes you just take it, because we all have freewill we don't have to think like you. This is from the group of people who are always crying about others infringing on there rights? I would have said beliefs but you have none.

that takes care of you saying we're praying to an imaginary being using a method that's only an illusion.

Yes-you do just take it. You are free to think there's not a God, and we are free to believe the truth.

Why does it bother you so much that We are loved by our Creator and love Him back? We're not making YOU pray, so just let us do our thing

Much love in Christ My God

It's also the National Day of Reason. http://www.nationaldayofreason.org/

Let the god-believers pray, if it gives them joy. Many atheists are giving blood on Thursday. Our Humanist community will join them. http://www.atheistvolunteers.org/ http://www.rationalresponders.com/

Of course let them, and take it, if it's in churches. If it's in City Hall, get a letter/call/e-mail campaign going.

By the way, donor blood saved my life, and I can donate now. I think I'll join in that effort, even though I'm not an atheist. Thank you to everyone doing this!!!!

Just wait until October 12, Freethought Day. That is the closest we have to a real holiday. You don't have to pray; no one can force you to do so.

I think there is a counter-day called "National Day of Seperation of Church and State" that is being observed. Let me check.

Edit: What Pagan Rebirth said!

Well I made an appt to go give blood since I think that will help a whole lot more than prayer.

Just another day. I'll be lunching with my mom. So for me, it'll be Thursday. Let them pray to whomever they like. Like it does any good anyway.
