I'm not trying to prove God, I am proving evolution is theory and can only be accepted as truth on the basis of faith.

Here's a real quetion for you;
How do you stump the intelectually honest?

I mean, if someone is a skeptic, someone who believes things only if it stands up to scruitiny, who hates religion because he percieves it as dishonest, who actually gains respect for people once they admit they dn't know something and loathes those who won't admit how dumb they are, who is an admirer of Socrates, how do you cause such a person to pull thei hair out because they don't know something?

You could possibly question why there aren't more remnants/fossils of half-human/half-ape like creatures. If there was evolution, why aren't there hundreds of skeletons of the "missing link" around Africa. There is Austrolopithicus (no idea how that is spelled), but they are still significantly different from modern day humans. And yes, a lot of genetic code is shared with chimps (99%), but that seems to further prove how little genetic code counts when you look at the significant difference between humans and chimps (free thought, values, etc.). Those are just some ideas against evolution, but there is no evidence that exists now that could "stump" an argument for evolution. Vice versa actually.

Believing in Evolution does not automatically make you an atheist. One can believe in Evolution and still believe in God. Personally, I believe in Evolution, and I believe in several gods!

I'm tired of this All-Or-Nothing mentality! There are more spiritual, philosophical, and religious choices out there than just Fundamentalist Christian and Fundamentalist Atheist!

I'm far from "stumped"... all things arise due to causes and conditions, are changing and impermanent and the double helix is no different. I'm afraid you've failed to disprove the illogical nature of an omnipotent creator being.

Do you even really know what a double helix is? are DNA has evolved over time.

There's a big difference between being stumped and not having enough evidence to answer a question.

That's not a stumper. Abiogenesis is far harder to explain than the evolution of any complex being.

And why should an atheist expect you to understand evolution?
