The definition of "immortality", according to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary is:
1 : exempt from death
2 : exempt from oblivion : IMPERISHABLE
3 : connected with or relating to immortality
4 : able or tending to divide indefinitely

I know of two people who were exempted from death: Moses and Elijah.
I know that we are all exempt from oblivion; those who believe in Jesus Christ will have eternal life and those who no not believe in Jesus Christ are condemned.

So, I suppose I believe in immortality in that we all have the opportunity to choose eternal life by believing in Jesus Christ, God's Son.

Yes.

Most people on Earth believe in immortality.

This is a basic Christian doctrine. As the Apostles Creed states:

I believe in God, ... and life everlasting. Amen.

With love in Christ.

I believe that the human body cannot live for ever but the soul/spirit of a person can be eternal.
