Just got a Sears account...was wondering if it could be used at K-Mart too. Thanks!

YES you can. K-mart and Sears are the same. You can use you r Sears card at Kmart. They encourage you too. You can also pay your Sears bill at K-mart. BUT please be careful with your credit. Remeber anything you buy you will pay on forever so ask yourself. Do I want to pay on this for years and do I really need it?

I thought so also...was there any conditions at the bottom of the certificate that said any purchase over the amount stated must be charged to your Sears charge card? I would not think that would be the case but its always possible....they are always putting those conditions on stuff anymore you have to read all this little printed stuff on the darn things. I am assuming so. My moms friend applied for a sears card at kmart and was approved so im assuming that she would be able to use it there as well, they probbaly merged. you should call and find out.

Call a K-Mart store and ask. They have merged. But they still operate under their own individual brands.

no, although they have merged, they are still 2 separate companies. They only accept their own credit cards.

if it says visa or mastercard on it usually is good everywhere. to be sure just call 1-800# on the back
