How many of you actually believe that if I let your god into my life, I'll suddenly want to become religious again? And if you do believe this, how do I go about doing such a thing?

To best bet:
"Being religious has nothing to do with God."

O RLY?

Religious: Having or showing belief in and reverence for God or a deity.

To WillRogerswannabe:
"One must develop what is called 'Faith'..."
This is not possible. One cannot simply "develop." Beliefs are not choices.

The Nordic Gods do not want you. There's a reason it's so hard to convert to our religion.

God hasn't left your life, you have left Gods life.
Don't become religious, become a "True Human Being"
It's a sharing process between man and God.
You share with God and God shares with you.
A person can roam the entire planet and God is still present.
A person can roam the entire universe and God is still present.
One must develop what is called "Faith" and the union between God and man will be made known.
Give it a try, develop your faith and any division your mind
tells you that you have with God will dissolve.
There is only "One God", and that "One God" is sufficient for all mankind.

Please let God into your heart....and please DON"T become religious again. It sounds as if you were a church Christian but had no personal relationship with God and Jesus.

Please ignore the church teachings and simply get to know God and Christ through your Bible. Develop a personal relationship with them by opening your heart to them. Yes, they may knock...but you need to open the door.

Talk to God just like you would talk to me or to another person. He will hear....and if you are still....he will speak to your heart.

God Bless. I will pray for you. (Done)

saying that you let god into your life isn't just an act - you've got to follow up on it if you really want to be honest with yourself. god and religion go hand-in-hand - you can't have one without the other. you can't just say you have god in your life, but do nothing to improve your life or work on your relationship with god. letting god into your life involves reading the bible and learning about god, and also talking with god through prayer. open yourself up to god, and he will direct you where to go in your religious studies and in your outside life.
