Hey, you could get some small moulding and put around the fronts of the doors...lowes will cut for you and then just install with small nails and paint if you like. I think moulding makes anything and everything look better and more expensive. You could even put it on the top or top back or the sides or wherever...I can't really say because I have no idea what it looks like but anyway...it's an idea. Good luck with whatever you do!

I painted some plain closet doors with a trompe l'oeil finish to make it look like paneled doors. Depending on your skill level you could try this. Google keyword "painted furniture" and you may find some ideas.

how about deco page?
its simple and easy and you could do a variety of things
floral, rustic, modern, classic, country, you could even have one of your favorite photos, and then embelish it.
you could glue beads, or fabrics, anything.
Little mirros or even tiles.

put some color on it then! paint a color on that u like that goes with the rest of the room. or find a completly random stencil.
