because people don't like guilt or being blamed, so they use a scapegoat. they think ''well, so I'm not down-sized, I'll blame God. yeah! He's omnipotent, He's supposed to be all good, so why isn't He using all that power to stop it? I'll be off the hook".
I find it ironic how people do this: blaming the Benevolent One for evil, and then they cause others to think that same way without trying to cover stuff up. I believe even God has laws to follow (I question everything). How could Abraham have held back God's wrath? How come Jesus couldn't do miracles when there was no faith? why does the current world, whcih views faith as ridiculous, not see miracles? logic.

While it is, true people die everyday from lack of food. The problem at least in part is the governments of the world who withhold the food given them, to aid the people. And sold at a huge profit. Most, if not all of the food comes from America i.e... the people. Another part of the problem is, the people we are trying to help, may not propose the skills to care for themselves. Years ago American people sent tons and tons corn to help some people, what corn the government did not keep for resale, was in fact given to the people that needed the help. They ate the corn, they did not plant the corn, to eat more corn later. It is not always a question of giving.

Why doesn't this wonderful, magical God of yours make me want to get up off my fat *** and do something about it? Why doesn't this wonderful, magical God of yours give me more power to do something about it? I see what you're saying. People should help other people. But if I were a God, I'd do a hell of a lot better job than your God is doing.

People seem to think that because God has the power to change the situation that he SHOULD change it. Obviously they do not understand God's ways. He asks us to do his bidding on this planet...and to do it in His name. Also, people sometimes just want to be able to lay the blame on someone else. If it is not God, it is the government...or the school principal or the cops or whatever. They just do not want to accept responsibility for what happens on themselves.

Your right to not blame "God" and it is refreshinmg to see someone take responsibility for suffering.
Had we done this as a species we would leap bounds ahead in spiritual evolution overnight.
