whenever i ask a christian,"what proof do u have of God's existence?" he/she says things like "look around u...look at yourself...that's proof"....but the thing is,it's only because u have faith in the 1st place, that u see proof of God in things like this.

u can't expect a person who doesn't have faith,to see those things and see them as evidence of God's existence.faith doesn't come automatically to a person.to have faith, one must be able to believe,to believe one must have some evidence to do so....+this also applies to the warm, loving feeling u get when u pray,it's BECAUSE u have faith, that u feel so emotional.a person who didn't have faith, would feel nothing.

would u believe in the existence of peter pan merely because i TELL u to have faith?no right..i'd have to show u some proof that he does ,in fact, exist.so the same goes for other people.

so tell me,other than "faith" do u have ANY other proof of God's existence?

Sorry to say it, but I think you're being argumentative. You ask the Christian what proof they have, and they show you the proof (for them), and then you immediately say "that's not proof for me". Yeah well, maybe they weren't trying to prove it to you. (They may have been, but you don't say)

If you read James 1:5 you'll see it says that if anyone doesn't know something they can pray about it and get an answer. You don't have to live your whole life only on the hope that God is real and Jesus is the Christ, you can and most definitly should read the scriptuers and then deeply ponder them and your question and then in solemn pray ask God in the name of Jesus Christ if in your case Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and is real. Then you will get your answer, you will not unfortunately see an angel or hear a voice from heaven, however you will feel the Holy Ghost bearing record to you that Jesus is the Savior of the world and is real. The spirt of the Holy Ghost will tell you in your mind and in your heart that those things are true, sometimes you might feel a burning in your bosom or become very emotional, it is usually different for every person. This is the same scripture that the Prophet Joseph Smith read that casused him to pray to our Father in Heaven which eventually led to the restoration of the True Gospel of Jesus Christ

I'm not necesarilly a person that really "believes" to the fullest extent, but even some scientists say that there has to be a "higher power" at work. When it boils down to it, everything is just how it should be... "perfect" in a sense. The alignment of the planets, the positioning of the earth, everything. Things co-exist and work together so well that its hard to believe that a "higher power" does not exist.

Like I said, I'm not really one to be considered a believer, but when thinking about it its not so hard TO believe. Faith goes hand in hand with believing and the only way you can believe is if you have something that prooves to YOU that there's a higher up. So maybe for someone it is just the human race in general and everything around them that helps people believe but to others it might be something else, something more...

I'm gonna stop talking now before I sound like a religious fanatic... GOD I hate religion... lol.

Hello friend,
Thank you for asking a thoughtful and valid question .
May I begin by making an observation?
I don't detect an outward mocking in the tone of your question like many others in this forum display. If correct, that is possibly your first link in the chain of "evidence of proof" of God's existence.

Getting, or having faith does not require you to check your intelligence at the door.
Admittedly, I have faith in God and am absolutely convinced the He is God Almighty Creator of all that is, and Savior of my soul.

Now, may I say that you seem to have seen and possibly known others who claim to believe in God and know Him personally. That may have caused you to ask the question you did. If so, it is my opinion that if you're truly honest, you would LIKE to believe HE exists, and that my friend, is God Himself gently knocking at the door of your heart.

He wants you to believe in and know Him. He went to alot of effort to show Himself to you. And right NOW, if you will allow Him, He can and will make Himself known to you.
This is not a challenge, or a dare, but if you will get alone, possibly in a room where there is no distraction, where there are no people to fear or impress, where you can call on His Name with your honest, open, and (even faithless) heart, He will hear and He Himself will make Himself known to you in a way that will leave no doubt in your heart that He is who He says He is.

Just get alone and tell Him you don't know what to say or even how to pray, but if He really IS there, would He make Himself REAL to you.
PLEASE, please do not make a demand, or be arrogant, but rather come before Him as if He really is real and really is God. Because He Is.

If you are truly sincere and truly seek Him, you will find out He's been waiting for you.

Be patient. You probably won't hear an audible voice, or see a vision, but if you determine in your heart first, and then your mind to know for sure if God exists, you'll know.

He loves you and eagerly desires that you be with Him in all Eternity. But He will not violate your free will. Say yes to Him, He said yes to you on a cross some 2000 years ago.
I sincerely pray you seek Him with all your heart, He is not far from you even now.

Be Blessed as you proceed,
2 Tim.2:7

I could probably never PROVE to you that God made all of this. This is what I believe and am sure that it is correct. However as far as proof to others, I cannot prove it and have never tried to.

On the other hand, no one has been able to prove to me that the we were created any other way than by God.

I am sorry I don't have an answer to your question. I don't believe anyone will be able to prove it to you.

I will not use the word faith in my writing.

When you look at history(ancient and modern), there are alot of religion involved especially Christianity. There were wars, inquisitions, persecutions, ect. because of religion. There are temples, buildings, prisons, records, ect. around the world and still many are finding more. Many archaeologists found biblical sites or things using Bible. Not all science cannot explain fully about Bible or any other religions. By the way, peter pan is fiction because the author said it was fiction.

let me answer this way- faith is a gift given to us by God- so if you really want to know that He exists ask Him to give you the faith to believe. A person without faith cannot possibly have hope. And Jesus is hope- In Ephesians 2 God tells us that we are saved by grace, and faith, which is a gift from God. He wants to give you this gift through His Son Jesus- ask and He will give you this faith to see Him.

I have had proof of God talking through my son at the age of 3 when he could not speak very well at all. He never said a sentence or spoke of God. He called his older sister "aie" when her name is Katie. He yelled out when my wife and I were arguing out loud and being hurt full to each other. He said " Stop it,God is in your hearts". This was confirmed by amazing goose bumps and all our hostility fell from us and we looked at each other and knew he was not capable of what he said.
The other time I was in my restaurant and it was not going well. I was very frustrated and I went into the bathroom to check on it and it was vandalized. My hands started shaking and my angry level was off the charts. I was about to explode and in seconds of storming out and throwing everyone out I heard these words " They did far worse than that to me in my day." All the anger was gone and I praised God and cleaned up all the damage and walked out happy as if it never happened. You can discount all you want , but these are true moments in my life. I will serve the Lord for he is REAL

Yes... Nature is proof of God's existance... look around you... that's proof... Design in Nature...

What evidence do you have that Nature doesn't point to a designer??? You can't just say that you don't accept Nature as evidence and then ask for different evidence... you have to refute the evidence and provide your own contrary evidence... which you didn't and probably can't do anyway.

Since every law of the universe says that "something" can not come from "nothing", that proves that there was something before there was everything . . . and that "something", acted in a way that created "everything" . . . now call that something "God" and we are now on the same page.

How hard is this? The definitions, the particulars, all of that is what we are gonna do with the rest of our time, since we have this much figured out.
