I dont know why this happens, I need this to work. Please Help!

I tried reloading it but it still does the same thing.

Delete a file called " Twain.plugin ". It's located at this path:
Applications / Adobe Photoshop Elements3.0 / Plug-Ins / Import/Export / Twain.plugin
Then restart the application. You should use your scanner to save files to your hard drive. After they are saved, open Photoshop Elements and then go to the file menu to open the scanned file.

Try reloading Elements.

Try repairing your file permissions using the Disk Utility. Once you've done that, if it still doesn't work, uninstall the application and reinstall it.
