My friend realized this today...and I am not being shallow I am just curious. I know the girls probably have a great personality, but I do too and I can't find anyone...

Try walking up to people and introducing yourself (like a guy does when he wants to meet a girl). If you don't have looks, then the only way you are going to get noticed is if you speak up. No one knows what your personality is like if you sit like a bump on a log and never speak.
Don't act too excited, or too eager, to meet someone, though. This makes you look desperate, and it is a turn-off. Don't act too cold, either Just act mildly interested (He already figured out that you think that he is cute, otherwise you wouldn't have came over and said "hi", so don't over do it and pretend to be totally disinterested. That make you look insincere).

Guys like girls that are "OK" looking because these girls are typically lower maintenance. MOST of the women out there who are "gorgeous" know they are and in turn EXPECT to be treated a certain way. Guys end up doing things for these girls because if they don't there will be hell to pay. The "OK" looking girls have MUCH fewer expectations and thus guys do things for them because they WANT to. The simple fact of the matter is that the gorgeous women are too high maintenance and not worth the hassles that come along with having a woman THAT good looking.

Perhaps those guys think those girls are hot. You know, girls don't always know what guys think are hot. A lot of guys do not like skinny stick girls, bleach blond hair, and a lot of makeup. Perhaps these "ok" looking girls have more to offer than a fake tan and 20 different colors of lip gloss. If you are not attracting guys, perhaps you are not presenting yourself as interesting. Or perhaps you are the type of girl who waits for a guy to go to her. Guys are shy as well and women have just as much of a right to ask a guy out as a girl does.

The "okay" looking girls are the backbone of women's confidence.
The main difference between the "drop dead gorgeous" and the "okay" lookin girl is that, she's too busy living life to worry about what category anybody, man or woman, is trying to put her in.
Take or leave it, either way i'm breathing and sooner or later.... (most likely sooner) someone will come along and want to take all of it!
confidence causes attraction, doubt causes doubt.
Now, can you guess which one i am....??? lol

Probably because "okay" looking girls arent too busy looking in the mirror. And have confidence, but not TOO much confidence. Maybe they work a little harder to keep their man by their side... just my thoughts.

That's partly true. Those girls just don't let boys get to them. FFor example if you are a little more safisticated and believe in yourself then all will be good. In middle school I coukdn't get a date to any dance. Then in highschool boys were calling me right and left just don't worry.

everybody has a comfort level, therefore some people will pick people that are less attractive than themselves. Sometimes its because they don't think they are as attractive as they really are and or sometimes they feel if they get a person who is okay they don't have to measure up so much

personality. And ALL guys like athletic girls. And EVERYONE likes someone whose always laughign and smiling, and thats what the ok looking girls usually do. and maybe guys have a different defenition of "ok" looking than u girls do.

Because men love confident women! And if you are confident, and average, it's very hot. If you are hot but not confident in yourself....not so hot. Ask any guy and he will tell you confidence is sexy beyond belief.
