A permanent passenger seat would mess up the total look of the bike.

Most guys (or gals) who ride custom choppers keep what I've heard called a "Lick it and stick it" seat on hand in case they need a temporary passenger seat.

This is a small seat pad that sticks to the back fender with suction cups.

Jane not all custom choppers are solo bikes you can put a king and queen style seat on your bike that allows two to travel in comfort the front seat is low so the rider is at a low center of gravity for control ,the pillion or passenger it about 4to 6 inches higher on a second step of the seat so they are able to see the view and the wind in their hair . the shot gun seat is another that houses two riders the front seat pad is wide and it tappers in to a thinner rear seat for the passenger . so as you can see if you look up custom choppers you may find a few examples of twin seats .

Sometimes they have a little (and I mean little) pad on the rear bumper for a passenger. I reckon the designer would put one on if you asked. Mostly I see passengers riding the bumper - not so comfortable I imagine.

If your s.o. didn't provide a seat for you, tell em to get you your own ride;)

You can get them, but since most choppers are not very comfortable since there is no rear suspension it probily be worse for the passanger, but if you want one any shop will put one on for you.

Who wants a passenger? Riding is all about not having somebody clinging to your back.

Gotta have SOME way to get away from the trouble and strife once in a while.

Because they are about style, not rideability.
