1. You mean the color of the bands that hold the wires? They change those every appointment - it doesn't really matter.

2. They remove all those bands (see 1) and slide a different wire in - quick and painless.

3. A couple of days your mouth will be a little sensitive, like a sore muscle - but not bad.

1. what colors look best? A lot of my patients go with the grey and pastel colors. Do not get clear. They stain easily.

2.how do they change the wires? The small elastic O-rings are removed, and then youre wire is taken out and replaced with a new one or some minor bends are done with your current wire and then put back in.

3. how long do they hurt when they change the wire? Your mouth feels sore for about a day or two after you get a new wire.
