OOOOOOOOOOk. I would say start doing stuff like, cleaning room, cleaning house, taking care of pets, spend your own money, get good grades, or be kind and stay out of trouble. I had to do these things, try it out slowly, or else they will know you are trying too hard. If you go at it slowly, they will think, oh, he/she is growing up. :-)

Remind them that you can't prove you're trustworthy until they take a chance on trusting you. Try proving how responsible you are by building up in small steps.
For example, say you want a pet cat. Start out by taking care of a neighbor's pet while they are on vacation; then get a small pet of your own like a fish and prove that you can take of it, feed it everyday, clean its tank, etc. Then start saving your money to buy all the things a cat would need - food and water bowls, kitty litter, etc. Then "pretend" you have a real cat, and do the necessary chores of feeding it daily, changing its litter box, etc, just as you would when you have a real cat. Then your parents will see that you are reliable enough to take care of a big responsibility.

Be responsible! Be trustworthy! Help around the house without being told to. Ask if you can get a babysitting job or walk neighborhood dogs and stick to it. When your parents say no don't argue with them. You can have a point of few but throwing yourself into a teen tantrum will do you no good. Good luck!

you cant persuade them that would be deceiving which would make you untrustworthy..alls you can do is live life the way they taught you..think before you speak,do not lie no matter what and get a job mowing lawns doing odd jobs etc and show them you can contribute to your financial wants..do chores without being reminded, homework without being asked and if have time help with things that you aren't necessarily asked to

you can't persuade anyone about the kind of character you have. your parents already know if you are trustworthy or not.
