Go back to your doctor as soon as possible, any medication which doesn't work needs to be assessed and changed. It could be that it takes a while to kick in but you still need another consultation.

Hi Sweety. Sorry to hear about your pain. Try cryotherapy (ice). If you do not have an icepack for this specific purpose, you can use a large bag of frozen vegetables (e.g. peas or corn).

Place the icepack or bag of vegetables in a thin pillowcase and place it directly on the area of your back where the pain is. Keep the ice on for 20 minutes. If you are doing it correctly, you will feel cold, burning, pins and needles, then numbness/anesthesia. You can reapply every hour, as needed. Do not over apply ice, you need an hour's break between therapy to allow return of healing blood-flow.

You need to find a better doctor. Your pain is NOT CAUSED by a drug deficiency. Something is wrong with your back and you need a doctor with the knowledge to figure out what is wrong. Then, treatment came be directed toward the cause of your pain. It may be a good idea to see your family Chiropractor for a thorough evaluation and proper diagnosis.

If you were having tooth pain, and you saw a dentist, and the dentist gave you pain pills, would you consider that good care? Or would you want the dentist to 'find and fix' the cause of your tooth pain? The same concept applies to back pain.

Best wishes and good luck.

Consider seeing a chiropractor. I've been going to chiropractors for years and have gotten a lot of relief from them.
The problem is that most people need a number of adjustments to get back to a non-inflamed state, which could mean 2 visits a week for 6 weeks, or more, depending upon your age and such. Many people assume that this is just an excuse for the chiropractor to make more money. You can't get anywhere with medical practitioners if you don't trust them a little.

You have got to move on your health care provider or different care. It is also your liver, If you have got yellow dermis and/or eyes, and overactive bilirubin, you have got Jaundice. Your liver would be broken.
