YES! Look at these - http://www.beyondtheinvite.com/Pricing_FAQ.html
Unique & NO MINIMUM! I love the "message in a bottle" one!

I think this one also sells individual invites - http://www.invitationsbyalecia.com/index.htm

I just went through the wedding invitation process myself and if I were to do it all over again, I would have made them myself. Places like Target, Wal-Mart, Party America and Michael's Craft Store sell beautiful Do-It-Yourself Wedding Invitation kits. You can probably find a friend or family member with a good printer to use. Most of the wedding invites I've received were DIY and I couldn't even tell until they had told me!

Ideally, the guest slots are allotted something like this: 40-45% for the groom's family, 40-45% for the bride's family, and 10-20% for the couples own younger set of friends. That is ideally, not in real life. In real life, people who are paying the bills tend to take charge. In real life, one side has a big family and the other has a small family. In real life, you need to step back and let your man handle his own mom and be a buffer between you and his mom. He has to find a way to tell her that it is very insulting to give a party which is so obviously only for her own family and excludes the bride's family. If your choices are to either participate in this insult or to decline the lady's offer to give you a wedding, then you might best choose not to have this wedding and to marry in some other fashion. It is to be hoped that this lady and her son can have a reasonable discussion, that she will see the wisdom of giving a party that includes both families over not giving a party at all. Remember, your man handles his mom and not you.

Make them yourself on a computer. All you have to do is go get a Hallmark disc and get the paper and envelopes. They make some really cute invitation sets in the craft section of like WalMart that are specially for weddings. Their may be more than you need in a package but then you'll have extras in case you make a mistake. Its just a lot cheaper to do it yourself.

You could print them at home. A lot of websites offer services to design them and then print them. Walmart does small quantities. OTherwise, OfficeMax, etc have packets of wedding invitation stationary that you can buy and then print on from your printer. Very cheap, quick and convenient. The instructions walk you right through it.

You can buy the stuff yourself at Staples or target. They make some really cute ones you can run through your printer if you're on a budget. Or you can just buy special paper and ask someone computer savvy to make you some custom invites.

Make your own! Go on wedding sites for how-to instructions. You can find great things at scrapbooking and craft stores. I like the idea of making your own because they can be exactly how you want them. For the writing on them you might think about going to someone who does calligraphy and pay them to do that for you or print on nice paper in the font you want.

There is a software called CreataCard from American Greetings. You can use it to design your own invitations and print them out with a regular color printer. All you need is greeting-card paper (envelopes come with the paper), which you can easily purchase from an electronics, printing store.

VistaPrint.com

They are cheap, and you will be surprised with the print quality. I think the minimum order is 10, and they are usually free as they have free promos all the time. You only pay shipping.

I just bought 100 RSVP postcards, double sided/color/glossy for $9.95 (including shipping!)!

Go to a stationery store and get one of those fancy velum invitation kits...... or just buy some velum and cardstock and make them yourself. Do you have a friend (most likely a girl) who scrapbooks? Because there are the cutest design you can make or perhaps pay them to handmake them for you.

Did you know that the most formal wedding invitation you can make is hand written, or even better hand calligraphed? This is even above engraved invitations!

Buy some really nice paper and hand write them in your very nicest writing, or if you know someone who can do calligraphy, ask him or her to write them.

Happy wedding!
