ok...summer is just about here and I have gained few pounds over winter. Ok...30 pounds, that puts me a little over wieght and I would like to lose that or more. Does anyone have any tips that work really fast and are cheap. I would like a cheap quick fix for my summer trips. I have a trip May 13, May 30, and June 23. I want to look good for these trips and I would love to look better and put myself at a higher chance of not gaining the wieght back. Any help?

Enjoy the wonderful warm weather. Get outside and start doing 1 hr of cardio a day. Go running, volunteer to help an elementary school with field day, go for a stroll on the beach...whatever. But try to master 1 hour a day and watch what you eat. You won't be able to lose it by May 13 but it is perfectly reasonable to have a goal of 15-20 lbs in those 8 weeks.

Drink a lot of water. It will speed up your metabolism also drink cold water so your body burns calories to warm it up. Stop drinking soda if you do.
You will need to do Cardio Exercise at a moderate heart rate to achieve fat burn. Go to wall mart and buy resistant bands they are like $10 and follow all the instructions these will help tone your muscles. Take a walk on your lunch break.
And try not to eat after 7pm. Eat a lower carb diet eat 4 smaller meals a day to keep your metabolism going. Eat spinach salads, and chicken breast. If you do this and follow it strict you will lose your 30lbs in a few months.
Good Luck !

Take care when rushing into a crash diet. Basically it is calories in, and calories out. You burn around 3500 calories to zip off a pound of fat, and 3500 can put a pound on if it exceeds what you need to eat to maintain your weight each day. Cut the calories and increase the exercise. Best bet is lots of walking, great for building your leg muscles, which burn the most calories. Cut your calorie intake back, and drink lots of water. Don't cut your calories below 1,000 unless you are a pretty small person. It took time to put them on and it will take time to take them off. Avoid the fads.

I'm not an expert but recently lost quite a bit of weight. Exercise daily, drink plenty of water, eat 4-6 small healthy meals per day and you will lose weight. Healthy weight loss is around two to three pounds per week. good luck.
