I need to know the best places to go, eat

wo hop for the best chinese food- 15 mott st in chinatown. ollies also has good cheap chinese food as well, there is one in times square and one uptown around 68th. grays papaya for cheap hot dogs, those are all over the city.

You should not miss going to Foley's Fish House in the evening in the middle of times square. It has about a 190 degree view just opposite of where the ball drops on New Years eve. The food is great. If you walk across the Brooklyn (very nice) on the Brooklyn side on your right you will see a small light house (it is an ice cream shop and has been on the food network.)

Ask your browser. the best ice cream is actually out in queens on the line between jackson heights (Patty Duke Show in the 60's) and flushing queens (The Nanny from the 90's). We do a tour of Manhatten eating and theatre each spring. We just ask our browser for best italian, chinese, french, pizza, etc in New York City and go from there.

Start at Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village. Then walk to 3rd Street. From there just walk and you'll see all you want to see and eat all you want to eat. If you're into shopping walk to 8th Street.
