I suggest a hot bath with 1c. of epsom salts dissolved in the water. have her breathe deeply as The steam rises. Afterwards rub her chest with Vic's vapor rub. Place a towel on top of her chest perhaps pinning it to her nightgown. So that the vapors penetrate the chest.

You need to purchase a good quality Air Purfier and have it running 24 hours a day in her bedroom. This is going to take down the allergies and help with the asthma. This is the single most important thing you can do to help your daughter. I would also put a secondary Air Purfier in the other room in your house that she spends the most time in.

My pediatrician always suggested taking my kids in the bathroom and putting the shower on. We would have to stay in there for 20 minutes, inhaling the steam. It always worked.
In case its allergies, you might want to try Zyrtec...it really helped my daughter stop coughing.
