Christian jewelry is popular and crosses or crucifixes to hand on walls or place on a table is acceptable as well. A Bible with someone's name engraved on it is special or a very good study Bible. Also, Christian books that talk about starting the Christian journey. Confirmation is a starting point, so to speak. So, books like that would be appropriate. I've seen people get mugs that have Christian quotes on them or verses on them. Journals are also a good idea--to use as a prayer journal or a devotional journal. Devotional books are also a good idea. Think about things that will help them in the faith or symbols that will act as a reminder of their faith.

Bible, Rosary, Crucifix, Prayer book (available for purchase at most rectories) I am assuming you are Catholic, The Catechism of the Catholic Church.

There are also some Chaplets that would be O.K.,,

Pray for them! That is the best gift!

Good Luck!

Spiritual gifts LOL

Edit: ok that wasn't very helpful. A pendant, or a wall hanging would be nice.

I wonder who is doing the "supposing". :)

I would say that the best gift you could give the person is your love for the person and for God. Be a supportive friend, helping the person to seek nurture for their faith.
