No, it only means it feels right to us. Please remember, 'right' is a subjective term and a value judgement. It does not have any absolute definition.

Depends. For a healthy person with no mental problems, the answer is likely yes. Humans have a built in morality warning light that goes off when we do something that hurts someone else. It's our nature to have empathy.

Now - if that part of the brain where self-control and empathy isn't wired right and isn't working - then no. Hence the reason we have societal laws.

But this is certainly not an advocation of the Abrahamic 10 Commandments. After all - most of those are really optional except for killing. Stealing, cheating, and lying aren't acceptable either, but they're still a lesser crime than murder. However, coveting and worshiping other gods - nothing wrong with those.

No, not necessarily. Just because you feel good about something doesn't mean that it is right. If you had an enemy that became violently ill and you felt good about it, it doesn't mean that it is just. To truly be able to tell if something is right or wrong, all emotion must be put aside. Only then can you reason if something is right or wrong. But also be careful, since most of the time we tend to look at a situation through only one perspective.

God did create us with emotions- however we should never trust them to be accurate. If you feel good about something it does not necessarily make it right. Of course we will feel good about making a Godly choice yes, but I think it goes beyond that- there is a difference between being at peace with a decision and feeling good about it. Feeling good can last for a short time, because the pleasure is immediate- when you make a right choice, peace abides with you forever.

Not always. Satan has a way of making us feel good about something that he wants us to do also,....and odds are it won't be right. If you believe in God, and are in doubt of the right decision to make...ask Him. If you are open to Him, he will either give you peace about it...or make you feel less than peaceful. And, don't be in a rush....take some time to allow yourself to get past the initial "excitement" phase and really allow yourself to see the situation clearly. I can't think of anything or any decision that we would have to face that has to be done or made immediately or without the time to think it through.

I have myself experienced elation over something that I wanted to do and even started doing it fervently...but after a few days I found myself becoming less peaceful about it. Today, I know that it was not the will of God...but perhaps my own...or even Satan (as it referred to a religious thought process).

That depends on what you mean by "feel good". Alot of times, we feel good when we do the wrong thing. Otherwise, nobody would ever do the wrong thing, right? That doesn't mean you cant feel good by doing good things, just that how you feel is not a good way to discern whether your actions are right or wrong.

Feelings are NOT a good determiner regarding doing the right thing. They tend to be "programmed" from past experience - use your reasoning despite what you feel.

No, not all the time, but most of the time if we do the right thing and it helps more people then just ourselves, it is probably the right thing to do. It also deals with your view on the world + your values.

Only if you know what "feeling good" means and are aware of what they are truly feeling.

No, not necessarily. I'm sure many serial killers feel very good about what they're doing.
