Say your at a bar and your by yourself and there are plenty of open sit around you, but for some reason someone comes in and sit "RIGHT" next to you and orders a drink (Invading your space) There should be a buffer zone among strangers in bar ( until it gets croweded)

Totally agree. I think people should space themselves evenly. If you're going to sit right next to me, I better know you or want to know you!

Most people with a semblance of manners wouldn't sit right beside a stranger. Just like when I park off by myself and there are plenty of spaces all around me but some moron parks right next to me. Some people are socially handicapped.

I think you are fighting a losing battle here. An open chair is just that...a place for anyone to sit. You don't have to make small talk to be polite, and no one has invaded 'your' space..that space is the bar's space for paying customers.

Tell them to get out of your bubble.... or find another stool a little far away and when they look at you weird tell them that they were inside your bubble..
or start talking , they'll think you are talking to them but politely explain that your talking to the voices inside your head that person will LEAVE>> lol
