The joy of the Lord is indeed my strength.
Even through the most devastating times in my life,
this joy just keeps bubbling up.
He has indeed given me beauty for ashes
Oil of joy for mourning
And the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
All praise and glory go to Him who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb that was slain.

Yes but it was fleeting until I figured out I don't need any God to feel that way.........It is the VERY SAME feeling you get when you work toward becoming self-actualized. If you would like that feeling to last, learn to love life and be a person you can love and respect, then you will ask if everyone is enjoying life as much as you are.

The joy I'm really waiting to experience is the joy I'll feel when you finally stop asking these annoying questions. If you want to proselytize, go down to the street corner with all the others.

yes let me share my experience with you please, i was living a bad lifestyle from drugs, alcohol, all immoral sex acts. it cost me my family, job, home, i ended up on the street, homeless. for quite sometime i was homeless but still chose the bad life style.one day i was in a fish pond in a back yard(bathing)they werent there.yuck i know, any way i got in this fish pond, it had a fountain in it but i didnt realize the elctrical was not wired right. i got in waiste deep and ZAP i was getting fried! like i said no one was there to help but all of a sudden i was lifted from the water and set aside on the grass! i know it was GOD giving me a second chance! so i took it i got saved, got custody of my kids, own a house, had my own business, involved in church ministries at my local church my life is blessed.now heres where i felt the joy even more! a couple of years ago i started to backslide and got really scared, so that night i prayed i asked GOD if HE still loved me and forgave me? so i went to sleep.i had awaken later that night by being layed in bed.all of a sudden i realized that GOD had actually picked me up hugged me and laid me back down like a child. i was woken up by the motion of being set back down! when i woke up and realized what i was experiencing i then felt so much warmth and love. i knew it was GOD answering my prayer...
