No I would not take any drugs that were not prescribed to me by my Doctor. However and I am upset to say this I know people who do and they make themselves worse. Once had a friend, not close friend with serious chest infection who asked me if I had any antibiotics laying around? Shock, antibiotics are a set course, so why would anyone have any hanging around? She had collected a few and was taking antibiotics prescribed for a urine infection hoping it would cure the chest infection. She ended up on steroids and long course of antibiotics.

No way. What if you were allergic to it? Or you had a reaction? If it has not be prescribed to you then you don't take it.
