I know many Christians. All of my relatives at least pay lip service to it. None of them follow 9 of the commandments.

because its difficult.
Imagine if Christians were obligated to observe the Sabbath the way Orthodox Jews do.
They could not get any converts that way, so they say they dont have to do it. The same reason they got rid of all the other OT laws.

Good question. We used to have a blue law in this state (all "non-essential" stores had to be closed on Sunday). The reason? The Religious "Right" didn't want to have to work on Sunday. Where did they go after church? Straight to the restaurants for lunch. Guess who had to work on Sunday to serve them? Hypocrites.

It's a pick and choose for them, they can't categorize all their thoughts into one form, only a supreme enlightened Buddha can do that and I am not one of them. However, what I can do is tell you that I have travelled across that realm and I am still alive.
Cheers!
