My friend has been having "friend troubles" with some of her friends and now they are mean to us. We don't want to sit with them for lunch but we didnt want to sit alone. So (we're no supposed to) we sit with some of our other friends in different classes and one of the guys in our class told our vice principle (i HATE her!) and now (i am a goody-goody student! i don't get in trouble! now i have thanks to that stuoud vice princible) she said we have to sit in the back of the cafeteria for the rest of the week! I almost cried! Now we can't go to our teacher's pizza party he had planned for us...we are his favorite goody students, so what should i do? i guess i just asking, what is a good way to spend silent lunch?...pass notes?

Wow.....I really CANNOT believe how insensitive some people are.....it's not like it's a huge problem, but have a little sympathy for Christ's sake! I mean, how absolutely far did you have a stick stuck up your butt, you insensitive people? It wouldn't be an absolute end of the world for me, either, but honestly! And some of you even said she would get fat! Really! (Sorry, had to get that out of my system. I realise there are a whole lot more problems in the world than this, including how some of us seem to be losing our manners.)

Anyway, I don't understand why you would get in trouble for sitting with different people, do you have assigned seats? I would probably do homework during lunch, anyway, cause I mean, then you don't have any when you get home....Anyway, hope this helps, because some people just want to be a jerk about it.....

Act like it doesn't bother you. Just talk to your friend about things that you don't mind if those meanies hear. The good thing is that the two of you are together in this. It would be really awful if you didn't have each other.

Do you two speak a foreign language? Whenever my friends and I had to say something that we didn't want anyone else to hear, we would speak in Japanese.

Wow. That is such a horrible problem. I mean, when you think about VT and all those wars, there is nothing worse then this. Ok, I have an answer, you poor soul. Why do you care about that stupid pizza party? Do you want to be overweight? (Not that it's a bad thing!) Stop caring, and focus on your grades. In a year you'll realise how unimportant this question was. Stop whining.

That really doesn't sound fair to me. There is nothing fun about silent lunch. I guess you two could work on some of your schoolwork, but it is still is a lousy way to spend lunch.

Why did you get in trouble for moving? If that's the worst thing you ever get in trouble for at school, don't sweat it. Like the person before me said, five years from now, it won't matter! Good luck mending friendships.

wait im confused. your school has assigned seating for lunch or something? why would you get in trouble for sitting elsewhere?

if you can't speak to anyone during your lunch, bring a book and read it. that will keep you from wanting to speak to others.
