I am such a loser, lol! I miss my cat as soon as I leave the house! At the moment he lives with my boyfriend and I only get to see him every 2 weeks because I'm at Uni in a different town to where he lives. I miss him a lot!

Does anyone else miss their cat when they go out?

I finished uni nearly a year ago. I was about 3 hours away from home (in Gloucester, I come from Kent), and I missed my cat all the time. She was old so I was worried something would happen to her when I was away.

Fortunately I finished uni in time to enjoy the last 4 months of her life with her on my bed most of the time. Now she's gone so I miss her all the time.

I don't think it's weird at all to miss a cat! They're much better company than people!

Just read your profile - I loved uni too, way more than the actual course! Now I miss uni a lot too, it was the life - enjoy it to the MAX while you can!

Why would you let an unneutered male outside in the first place? To make more unwanted kittens? He may keep going farther and farther away. As long as he can scent a female in heat anyway. There is always a chance that something terrible happened. Outdoor cats can get attacked by other animals or hit by cars. There are also very cruel people out there...I've seen cats poisoned and clubbed.

aww thats so sweet! Yes i do actually! I got my cat, Tobey, when he was just a tiny little boy. He was so adorable! I miss him so much when i have classes all day or anything like that. I will think about him. hes so precious! I think its because I have had him for 4 years now.I love him very much. Its really hard when I go on a vacation. I call the animal inn where he stays and ask the person who works there if hes doing ok. :)

I miss our dog when we go out without him.

He is with us 99% of the time, but at times we have to leave him behind.

But it is great to come home to him. We get such a big greeting from him, whether we have been away for an hour or just two minutes.

Of course you are not alone in this respect, you obviously love your cat so much and have immense attachment to it, same as i do, you are a little lucky in a sense that you have someone who can take care of it whilest you are at Uni, but I have to plan my trips very carefully as I hate to leave him alone for longer than a few hours if my wife is also coming along with me.

strange though, pets can be as loving souls as humans, the attachment and responsibility is no different if you truely love an animal, its almost like your own child. But I do hate that fact that Vets talke you for a ride when you do have to take an animal to a Vet, thats the only downside to it. They are like Lawyers and Doctors getting rich on people's misery.

My sister has a cat and I miss it. I'm like you and get to see this cat every 2 weeks. I guess we both must be losers.
