I am working at the personnel support detachment ( Personnel Specialist) shore duty. I requested BAS, but i need at least 2 "good reasons" why i want BAS. Working hours are ok, but i need at least 2 other good reasons.

I am an e-3 and live on base.

Generaly you get BAS when you are authorized to live off base.

The only other reason , is when because of your duties, you cannot regularly eat in military dining facilities.

That means you can only eat like 3 meals every two days in a military dining facility.

your regularly scheduled work day must preclude you being able to eat in the Galley. . If you are working Nights, you could probably use that as an excuse. Or the Galley must be closed for business or otherwise unable to accomdate you ona regular basis.

as a PS, surely you have seen request chits like this before, and know which ones get approved and which ones don;t.

If you're on shore and ALLOWED to live off post. I don't think you can get BAS while on sea duty----why?
