Okay.
So like I was talking to this 22 year old && we were hooking up in the backseat of my car for about a month. Well my aunt found out && forbidden me to ever see, talk, email, or txt him ever again (or unless til I moved out @ 18) Well What do you think about the age thing?

When I was about 15 I was in a "relationship" with a guy 5 yrs older than me.... (relationship is in quotes because it wasn't a real one...hint # 1)
When I was going through this, I thought ohh yeah there is nothing wrong. But what you really have to ask yourself is....
Even though you are beautiful and young, you can't take care of yourself by yourself....you still have alot to learn and people you depend on to keep a roof over your head. You still have a curfew and can't drink or vote yet....although I'm sure you are doing great in school and are very smart....
But what would a 22 yr old have in common with you? He has left the highschool life behind. He should have a car payment, bills etc. A job, hobbies that you may or may not be allowed to enjoy yet because of your age.
Hun, he has a whole nother world of responsibilities and apparently agendas.
My opinion is this...enjoy being 16...you never know if the hottest 16 or 17 yr old is in the next classroom waiting to take you out on a date.... And I would focus on the things going on in your life right now...your education, what you want out of life, your family ( they really do care about you) friends, people who are trying to lift you up, not knock you up in the backseat of a car.
But for arguments sake....have you thought about all the things you would have to give up to "be" with him?
You'd mess with the relationships in your family....
If you move out can you consistantly and realistically pay the bills, keep a job and go to school ( it has been done before but its hard) And if you get pregnant can you throw the demands of a baby in the middle of all that? What about the person you are will suffer for those choices? And on top of that, is there really any gaurantee that after you make all those choices...he will still be there?
And one last thought...high school is high school...when your 21 you will be able to better appreciate what a real MAN brings to the table.

I find it that most people who answer the questions don't take in the fact of cultural differences. In US it would be illegal in Mexico its a common thing. When she is 20 you will be 25 which dosn't sound like a big difference in any way. Maybe at 16 the child isn't fully developed yet but if you are good man and you take good care of her there should be no diffrence. There are many teenagers that are already pregnent by this age and the boy they had sex with is only 17,18 and have no way to support the girl. Im not saying get her pregnent please refrain from that. just be gental and patcient with her dont do anything rash if you really care for her.

your aunt was right about what she did. This 22 yr old should've actually had charges brought against him. There is a reason that sex between teenagers and adults shouldn't happen. one of them is the maturity factor not to mention that there is also a lot of other reasons. This guy should go find him self someone his own age.

You are a minor. Your aunt/parents/guardian could press rape charges against your young man. Six years is a huge difference in your ages. You are still in high school, he would be out of college by now. You are obviously flattered by the attention of this "older man", but he is probably only interested in you for the sex. Beware, you will get hurt sooner or later, and pregnant on top of it. Say goodby to loverboy.

22 is too old for a 16 year old. in fact, its against the law. Your aunt is nice, if it was my daughter I would have called the cops. Btw, I am 22.

However 16 & 22 don't work your both not mature enough-sorry

as a 21 year old guy, high school girls are just soooo much easier and more vaunerable to "older men" and there's no easier age than a 16 year old girl personally but besides for it being illegal and all that, chances are he doesnt care for you enough to be in a serious relationaship just to get some when he's feeling horny. you should find a guy closer to your age for now though especially if its gonna start problems in your house
