Generally a large car.
It depends on the type of accident, but a car is less likely to get into an accident than any of the others, and will probably provide greater occupant protection.
However, in an accident with another vehicle, the lighter vehicle will generally suffer greater accelerations (hence greater forces on its occupants). If you hit a bridge, you'll be safer in a car than in a lorry, but in an accident between a lorry and a car you may well be safer in the lorry, despite its lack of airbags etc.

not a bike, too obvious why not. Nor a lorry as they jack-knife easily. A van has poor vision and not strong body. A push bike is same as a bike. A 4WD are crap in accidents as most will roll when you swerve and not as good as you think when it comes to safety.
Car is the winner by far, give me a 5star Ncap subaru thanks...

From the choices you gave the lorry would be the safest as its top speed is capped and they tend to win when they collied with something else. How many times have you read in the paper "Car driver killed in collision with truck. Truck driver uninjured"?

I would say a new car.
Any decent new car has systems like anti-lock brakes, brake force distribution and electronic stability control, which help avoid accidents in the first place.
In the event of an accident, they also have numerous airbags, anti-submarining seats, pre-tensioning seatbelts, and deformable steering columns.
The biggest factor in avoiding accidents is not the vehicle, but the way in which it is driven.
