Three men are traveling to a hotel, when they arrive they ask for the price of one room for one night.
The manager tells them the cost is $15, so each man pays $5 and goes upstairs.
Moments later the manager remembers that there is a special and the cost of the room is only $10, so he gives the bellboy five singles and sends him to return the money.
On the way up to the room the bellboy decides that it is unfair to make the three men split $5 unevenly so he gives each of the three men back $1 and he keeps $2 for himself.
Now, if each man paid $5 and got $1 back that means they each only paid $4.
So, 4 + 4 + 4 = $12
And $12 plus the $2 the bellboy kept only equals $14.
What happened to the other dollar?

This was a hard riddle, but it is really simple in retrospect, If each man payed only 4 dollars as you said, then the 2 dollars the bellboy kept comes from this payment of 12 dollars. Next they were each given a dollar back, so 3 dollars back. You don't add the $2 the bellboy has as it is included in the $12 paid.
12 + 3 = 15

Nothing. The trick is the way the answer is presented. Correctly: Each man paid $5 ($15 total pd). The manager refunded $5(now $10 total pd). The refunded $5 was split up as follows: $1 back to each man ($3 total) and $2 for the bellboy. The $3 returned to the men plus the $2 for the bellboy equals the $5 the manager refunded. So, again, $15 originally pd, $5 refunded. 15-5=10, and 10+5=15. Get it?

Each man paid $4, 4+4+4=12 and then they each got $1 back, 1+1+1=3. $12 + $3= $15
The bell boys $2 is already included in the $12 paid by the men. $10 for the room + $2 to the bellboy is $12. $3 back + $12 = $15

This is what I'm guessing.
The 3 men gave 5 dollars each.
5 + 5 + 5 = 15
The bellboy gave them each 1 dollar each, subtracting 3 from the total amount. This is only what the three men have paid now.
The remaining 2 dollars haven't been taken out of the 12 dollars yet to give to the bellboy(which would match the cost of the special room, $10), so how is the bellboy supposed to put two dollars back when he didn't even take the 2 dollars out yet?

Nobody will judge you like a monster, this is more common than you think. Sometimes the pink cloud just has a black lining. You do need help, for both your baby's and your sake. For your baby I would get a second opinion. Some doctors are too quick to say "oh, she's fine, it's normal" when really it's not. Make sure the second doctor LISTENS and doesn't go into "oh well, babies cry" mode. For you, your own regular doctor is the first person you should talk to. He'll be able to help you figure out if this is just a case of getting (understandably) overwhelmed and mostly needing practical support, or if there may be a touch of postpartum depression in there you may need treatment for. I know this may seem like too much for you right now, but have you considered wearing your baby, at least part of the time? Right now that may seem literally too close for comfort, but you may find it easier to deal with a peacefully sleeping baby on your body while you have your hands free to go about your business than with a baby in the back seat screaming every time you stop the car. Edit: Ignore that little Princess by the way. There is a reason why she is the only one judging you: she's a child. Her experience with babies is limited to playing with dolls.
