I have Psoriasis and when it erupted on my head I was freaked. Therefore I took some lemon juice to the cloakroom and after having a shower filled up the sink with lukewarm water and added a squirt of lemon juice. I then poured this over my hair and towel dried. Within two days the Psoriasis had gone and thankfully never came back. Now if it only worked on the joints I would be happy. I purchased some ordinary soap with lemon and that seems to be helping with the Psoriasis covering the joints.

I have used a blend of wheatgerm oil ,benzoin oil and lavender oil on my son's scalp it was really bad with psoriasis after 3 days of using it every night before bed his scalp has cleared and has not come back that was over a year ago. Mix 15 drops of the benzoin and 15 drops of the lavender into 100 ml of wheatgerm shake well and store in a cool dark place hopefully that will help

There is a theraputic shampoo called T/GEL from Neutrogena. It is an effective treatment for scalp Psoriasis, Seborrhoeic Dermatitis ( dry, itchy scalp) and Dandruff.
Somtimes these conditions arise when a person is under some kind of stress after a period of remission.

I have it on the back of my head (in my hair) where your head bends back (hard to describe) and I use Nizoral shampoo http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100865&navAction=jump&navCount=0&id=prod9407 every other time I wash my hair plus if it starts to itch (itch till its raw) I use a liquid anti-itch scalp relief (this one): http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=301666&navAction=jump&navCount=0&skuid=sku2010367&id=prod2010887
It'll burn for a second then go away. It is useful if you're scalp starts to itch till it's raw and you can't take a shower right away. It stops it instantly. If you're in the UK then Walgreen's is the same as Boots - go in and ask them if they have any anti-itch scalp relief medication. Hope this helps! (making my head itch just thinkin about it! lol jk) xxx

Isn't that Dandruff? Use an anti-dandruff hampoo. There are many available.
