I use it to relieve the pain in my back. You can lay over it on your stomach and center it directly where the pain is to relax that section of your back.

Also doing your situps on it helps a lot since you are having to use core muscles to stabilize yourself.

I have also sat on it like a chair to do my bicep and tricep since you are using the core muscles for stabilizing as well--making it a multifuntional workout.

Try picking up a yoga dvd that uses the workout ball too and it will give you lots of new suggestions.
