That sea apple looks like what I'd imagine the remains of Wilson from _Castaway_ to look like after he'd sat on the bottom of the ocean for a while. http://patterico.com/images/Wilson.jpg http://chemistry.csudh.edu/faculty/jim/Komodo640/seaapple.jpg

My own answer: I hate to seem to be going along with the crowd, but I'd have to say the bottle-nosed dolphin. I think that's from growing up watching _Flipper_ on TV.

...Here is a worthwhile story, to reveal my sea animal of choice.
...A husband and wife were vacationing on a desert island. He was lying under palm tree leaves, relaxing, and enjoying the cool ocean breeze. He did not want to move.
...His wife, on the other hand wanted to go everywhere and do everything, including scuba dive.
...But he refused; he said, "Look dear, with fronds like these, who needs anemones?"
.
.
...So then, anemones.

LMFAO this reminds me of the time we were visiting my future father in law down in florida, and john was teasing a dolphin with a food and it reached up and bit him...attacked by flipper is both hilarious and sad...tsk tsk..:(

I would have to go with salmon...they do amazing things.

I like those weird fish that live in the deep with the light hanging over their face. I think it's called a lantern fish.

Its between an octopus and a cuttlefish
Octopuses are extremly smart and they can have really really cool colors. PLUS they can fit into the most amazing places. they are great mothers too.
the cuttlefish is SWEEEET! It can change the color and texture of its skin really really fast to hypnotyse its prey. Its really cool to watch.
the two are related.
