like jules says remove the bulbs as they can short internally, a lot of shorts are in exposed areas look well in the bonnet area. the switch itself can short internally {as there is a neg supply that earths the indicate bulb} get to the switch if you can remove the plug , check for the same Colour wire and feed the lamp manually from the switch best use a line fuse when doing so, you don't say but are your rear fog,s on the same switch go as far as you can if no joy find a auto electrician as there is a knack when finding shorts

The manual to my 2000 Ford Mustang, tells that my interior
fuse location is in the passenger side kick panel.

Look in the owners manual, it should give a listing for the fuses. Also under the cover of the fuses, there should be a diagram etched on the back side. Good luck.

The fuse box cover will tell you which one it is, you may have to look in the owners manual to find the location.
