It really comes down to how far you want to go, each activity will burn approx 100 Calories per 15 minutes on average. There are other factors, such as male/Female, how big you are, Bigger folks burn more calories as well as more musclar folks.

So it comes down really to a question of what do you like to do, Bike or run. Heck do both, Run one day, bike the next. No reason why not. Biking is easier on the body overall in terms of skeleton, but running is very rewarding at the longer distances.

So do what you like, both are great just be active

jogging is better for you for excercise, calorie burning, and endurance, but if that is too intense bike riding will work too.

Jogging one mile burns more calories than biking one mile. So if you choose to bike youd have to triple the distance to get the same effect.

bicycling is the best exercise of the two, it will burn calories, and tone your entire body. Jogging on the other hand will quickly degrade the integrity of your knees and ankles and it will get worse the longer you jog and the older you get, it is a high impact activity and not good for you in the long run.
