it's the tanning that's making your legs dry. Use a really rich moisturizing lotion - Palmer's cocoa butter is excellent, as are lotions that contain hemp seed oils

Both the tanning and shaving can dry out your skin. When you shave make sure you're using a moisturizing/hydrating gel, also you should try to use a very moisture rich lotion within three minutes of towel drying after your shower to get the maximum amount of moisture sealed into your skin. For the tanning you should always use lotion after your done tanning, and also before if you really want smooth skin. Lots of professionals recommend lotions with hemp for best results.

It could be a combination of both tanning and shaving with a different razor. However, I think the tanning is what's making your skin dry out. I tan from time to time and the first thing I was told, was that my skin would get dry. Try using a hydrating lotion with sheabutter in it.

Yes! you should make sure to moisturize when you are done tanning. Your best bet is to try one of the new lotions on the market that moisturizes and also gives you subtle color over time. It looks much more natural than the orange glow you can sometimes get when tanning.

Yes your skin gets dry...it sucks out all the moisture. Make sure you shower afterward and use moisturizer. You should use shaving cream when shaving.

yes, tanning dries out your skin, so be sure both to use a good, moisturizing tanning lotion AND a regular moisturizer after showering!!!

One thing that helps dry skin, and is good for you anyway is water. If you drink plenty of water your skin won't dry out.
