I did not see it, I was spending time with my family that night. I recorded it to watch later though. From what I heard, it came across as being pretty unbiased to those who are not familiar with the LDS church, but to those who have studied the teachings and know the full history of the church, it had some inaccuracies which made it biased, such as the way they summarized some accounts and in their depiction of the angel Moroni and such. I really think they tried to make it accurate though.

You gotta be talking about the PBS television special about Mormon history last night (Monday - 30 April), right?
I found it extremely interesting, and will watch the second half tonight. It is hard to understand why Joseph Smith's preposterous story about finding golden leaves on a hill in New York state....could eventually attract so many thousands of intelligent and great-looking people. And why are so many of them so wealthy? It's a fascinating story, and I always like to learn anything I can about them. (Oh, by the way, how can some fundamentalist Mormons find a dozen wives -- many of them foxy-looking -- and I can't even locate one? Oh my gosh, I must have always been much uglier than I realized.)

It's too bad that they didn't shed ALL light onto what it means to be a Mormon. They sort of made it sound like it was a GOOD thing that they have evolved into the religion that they are now. They have these women and girls talking about how "god-like" it is to be one of 6 wives. They didn't say it was easy, but, they said it made them more like god. They forgot to say that their word of God is how Joseph Smith translated it. He changed text, added words, etc. He even added a whole entire book! They also forgot to tell us that the men in the Mormon faith decide whether or not the wife goes to the Celestial or Telestial (made up word) heaven. I am actually looking forward to see what misnomers are represented tonight!
To recap: I didn't like it- sorry.

I thought that it was as well made, very informative and lacked any editorial bias.
I'm looking forward to the finish of it tonight.
I do wonder if Joseph Smith's grove of trees is still there and if somebody had the the foresight to preserve them.

I found it to be informative and interesting. It answered many of the questions I have been mulling over for years. I'll be watching the rest of it tonight (unlike the other answerers who have probably never heard of PBS!).
