First off, I just want everyone to know I'm not selling anything, just trying to settle a debate that my fiance & I are having over a biz opp I'm looking into.
If you wanted to lose weight, sleep better, gain energy & focus, have better sex...lemme think...improve your eyesight, take good vitamins - that sort of stuff, all health/wellness related - what would you be willing to pay if whatever product or supplement you took actually worked for you? If a friend or family member recommended it, would you try it? If you saw someone else's actual results, would you try it? Would you continue using it, keep buying it?
We're having this debate (I don't want to call it an actual argument) cuz he says - how can you tactfully ask someone if they're sick of being fat/tired/crabby/sick, & I say that if you can prove it works & most people DON'T want to be all those things, they'll at least try it once, & at least 1/2 will keep up with it.
What do you think? All answers OK, be honest please.

In response to TeriR - I'm not talking about one product, I'm talking about several different products, so people could choose what they want to improve. Thanks for the input though - I've seen the wonderdrug commercials, too:)

I'm leaving this up for the remainder of the time limit, but I wanted to say thanks to those who answered already. I appreciate the input you're giving, although I do think some are misunderstanding, that it's not one wonderpill, it's several different things - a whole line of products. When time is up on my question, I'll vote for best answer, hopefully end the debate with my fiance, and know whether to pursue this biz opp. Thanks again :)

it all depends on the actual results to back it and how much it costs. i'm not willing to go into debt for life and spend my life savings to make someone else rich even if it helps me achieve certain physical abilities. if it's reasonable in price to fit in my budget and basically affordable for everyone and guaranteed results i'd probably do it for the rest of my life.

I have worked as the office manager in an alternative health (chiropractic) clinic for over 13 years. Here is what I have learned:
1. You can get some (usually limited) results from health supplements, vitamins, etc. Nothing earth-shaking or life changing in most cases.
2. There is no really good product out there available OTC for weight loss. If there was, everyone would be talking about it/taking it.
3. Most of the health products are re-hashed ideas that did not work the first time around, either. Collagen, apple cider vinegar, etc for weight loss was available in the 1970's too, and did not work then either.
4. There is a LOT of disinformation out there about these products, and most of it comes from the manufacturers of the products themselves.
5. You have to be totally committed to a 'hard sell' approach to make any money in this line of sales. Customers do not come to you, you really have to push push push the products.
6. People have to commit to a healthy lifestyle in addition to most of these products. And if people were willing to do that, they would not need most of these products in the first place!
7. Your sell to resell ratio is off.... only 10 to 15 % will "keep up with it," regardless of what the product is.
8. Most of the more expensive supplements, and particularly the multi-level marketing products out there are no better than considerably cheaper alternatives. That tends to cut down on resales, because if ingredients x, y, and z really work for the person, they are likely to look for less-expensive substitutes.
9. Without professional training in nutrition and health, you are taking on a great liability by selling products. They may interact with other medications or supplements, or they may be contraindicated if the person has a certain health condition. Look into the cases of kava kava and liver failure, ginkgo and strokes or excessive bleeding, etc. Ephedrine was fairly effective for weight loss, but people kept having heart attacks.

Basically what you are saying is, 'Take this and you will look like X' the magic pill that transforms you overnight, or in three months time, without all the hard work and effort.
Now do not laugh or laugh now, finished?
Remember when they cloned 'Dolly' the sheep? I was in Hospital about to have a Bone Marrow Biopsy, reading the news paper about 'Dolly!' That afternoon I went for the procedure, painless I am glad to report. That night I dream't they had taken out my bone marrow, shock horror:stem cells and could clone me! The dream continued and I woke up looking the spit image of Cher! It was a nightmare, not nice because I realised I was no longer the person I like, ME, but Cher! I came too drenched in sweat as another Patient was screaming the ward down in Pain and for a split second I thought she was screaming because they had cloned me into Cher! It was all rather bizzare but a experience you never forget. Therefore no matter what anyone 'promises' this Brand X to do, wild horses would not make me take it. I happen to like me, with my Psoriasis, Arthritis, dull boring life, but I like me the person and other people like me the person as well. Why would I want to change? I worry that the day my Psoriasis clears and it will, I will first check my bed, just to see if it 'slipped' off and then see my Doctor to ask for it back. People want normal healthy skin, you can have it, I am unique I have Psoriasis, no pressure to have normal healthy Hollywood skin and I save money!

Actually, swearing is an highly infrequent (and debilitating) symptom in humans who've Tourette syndrome. It's a variety of tic known as coprolalia. I have Tourette's and I've met plenty of humans with Tourette's, however I've met only a few who've coprolalia (might be 2 out of 100 humans I've met) Tourette syndrome is a lot more than what you spot at the external. It's like a giant construct up of anxiety all over the place your frame. Your mind is making you do those matters. For me, while I have vocal tics (the foremost one I have is only a noise - I do not say any phrases), it appears like there is a balloon in my chest and if I do not do it, I can slightly breathe and it feels just like the balloon is getting greater and greater. It does not give up till I do it. It's relatively uncomfortable and almost always painful, however plenty of the time I suppress the urge to do it on account that I do not desire to be judged. The pleasant method I might frequently describe the swearing tic might be that the character has an severe construct up of vigor and anxiety and the one viable technique to eliminate it's to mention/shout/do some thing that's regarded "dicy" or beside the point. Sort of like, for illustration, if you happen to stumped your toe or burned your self, you have to liberate the anxiety. Some humans cry, a few soar round and a few humans scream or shout curse phrases. Now, it is a lot more tricky than that however that is the best way pleasant method I might describe it to any person who does not have Tourette's. Also, I've certainly not skilled coprolalia myself so this will not be how any person else with it might describe it, however that is my knowledge of it to a point. It's now not the identical for all people. Anyway, I have not spoke back your query but. Basically, coprolalia is not nearly curse phrases, it is approximately pronouncing some thing that might be beside the point to mention in a given drawback. For illustration, within the information a couple of days in the past, a person with Tourette syndrome used to be thrown off a airplane for shouting the phrase "bomb". He has coprolalia despite the fact that "bomb" is not a curse phrase. He used to be pressured to mention the worst viable factor in that drawback. Also, if a tender youngster with Tourette's had coprolalia, they frequently would not understand swear phrases, relying on their age, so that they might shout phrases that they bear in mind dangerous. I do not know if that is sensible to you or now not on account that it is relatively tricky to provide an explanation for. I've had TS my entire lifestyles and I nonetheless do not realise it!

Nothing. There is no product that will do everything you're describing. If I saw an ad for the product, I'd ignore it and warn other people away from it.
