Sounds like she has other problems besides poor eyesight. She needs to be seen by a Dr.

It's not the glasses if she having seziers and blacking out you need to have her go see a doctor this is a problem. The glasses are doing is to help her see and if she not wearing them it just hard to see what the teacher is writting on the black board. If you have alot of head aches then that means you need glasses.

I don't think not wearing her glasses is the cause of the blacking out. She needs to see a doctor about that. my daughter is visually impaired and has had glasses since she was one, but has only actually used them for a year, She is six now, She complained that she could not see with the glasses and finally her ophthalmologist did away with the glasses because she felt that they really were not helping my daughter. She has had no further complications. I would really suggest that your niece be checked out because it is probably more serious than just not wearing her glasses. Headaches would be common from this, but not blacking out,

I'm not sure it's from not wearing her glasses - sounds like some sort of serious medical condition. Please get her parents to take her to a doctor. This is not normal. As far as not wearing her glasses, does she just need them for reading for seeing the black board in class, or is she supposed to wear them all the time. If she needs them all the time she could get contacts. And please get her checked out - sounds like it could be some sort of nuerolgical problem.

Yes this is a problem. She needs to wear her glasses or she will have bad headaches and worse vision. As for the blacking out, take her to the doctors there is something wrong.

if your -a million.50 and -2.50 astigmatic in the two eyes, i bypass to wager you spot so plenty greater effective along with your glasses than without them, so i'd placed on them finished time. getting used to donning them finished time is exceedingly basic and in time you will no longer think of something approximately donning glasses and it experience very organic and you will no longer even comprehend you have them on, and the sole distinction between donning them section time and finished time is as an entire time wearer each little thing will continually be in concentration, so which you in no way war to confirm some thing which you would be able to no longer see without glasses.

I don't think that not wearing your glasses will cause you to have a seizure. She needs to see a doctor. Not wearing her glasses might cause her headaches, but not blacking out.

I agree with above. It does sound like another problem other than her sight; although it all may be related. I would take her to her pediatrician and explain her symptoms.

Good Luck!
