I just heard that theJWs do not allow married couples to have any other sex than missionary style sex. They forbid anal and oral sex or anything with toys, role play etc. They quote Romans 1:26 & 27 (The same scripture other Christians use to condemn homosexual sex). I also understand Catholics forbid any kind of sex that does not directly lead to reproduction. So oral and anal sex is outlawed for Roman Catholics, in fact, it is considered "sodomy" under the definition provided by St. Augustine, which is the definition we still use today.
I find this insane!
What you and your husband or wife do in bed is NO ONE's business as long as it is consensual, between you both and done in a spirit of love and desire to please your partner.
Who else thinks this religious intrusion is a bit TOO FAR?

Please note:
Over 70% of women CANNOT achieve orgasm without direct clitoral stimulation.
(Although it is not MY personal preference) anal sex also is intensely pleasurable for certain women because it stimulates their G spot from the back and for men, it accesses THEIR G spot by their prostate which allows them to have mind-blowing intense orgasms.
Obviously God intended for people to enjoy this pleasure or the Creator would not have made our bodies that way.

I find this bizarre. I have never heard of this before. It may say that, but I am sure that tons of people experiement. Sex would be pretty boring otherwise. Although, they probably see sex as a means to reproduce and nothing more. Some religions are like that. You do what you feel is right. If people want to follow those rules, then let them I suppose. I will be experimenting with my husband though.

HOMOPHOBIA: irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals. Please note this is a psychiatric definition! Primitive religion has always lagged behind the improvement in moral attitudes and that is what these people are doing to Christianity – making it primitive! There were people who opposed the abolition of slavery, emancipation for women, the banning of discrimination of women, the attempts to eradicate racism and now the need to eradicate homophobia! Anglican leaders from around the world have clearly stated their opposition to the "victimization or diminishment" of gays and lesbians, saying demonizing and persecuting them was "totally against Christian charity and basic principles of pastoral care". "We say that no one should have to live in fear because of the bigotry of others." The Mormons poured millions into forcing through prop 8 in CA: to ban gay marriage. In August 2010 the court held that to be unconstitutional. On 15 June 2011 the San Francisco court upheld that decision because it violates the constitutional rights of citizens. On 7 February 2012 the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals struck the California law again finding that the California state constitution banning same-sex marriage violated principles of due process and equal protection under the law. The court found that the ban violates equality laws to target a minority group and withdraw a right that it possessed, without a legitimate reason for doing so. Proposition 8 serves no purpose, and has no effect, other than to lessen the status and human dignity of gays and lesbians in California. The constitution simply does not allow for laws of this sort. It is now awaiting the Supreme Court verdict which is expected to uphold the early court decision. If that happens then gay marriage will become legal everywhere and that will be marriage and not civil partnership! In the UK The intolerance, bigotry and homophobia from Christians resulted in it being classed as a hate crime with severe sentences. It has led to the government framing legislation which if enacted will replace "Civil Partnership" with full marriage. New Zealand, France, Spain and ten other countries have legalized gay marriage and others have commenced legislating to do so! The loving god works in mysterious ways.

God doesn't have many restrictions on sex as long as it's between a man and a woman in marriage. Part of the purpose of sex is pleasure, so if a spouses can find other ways to achieve that, then fine.

You can do different posistions but no oral or anal
They don't come right out and say that, they uses rhetorical questions to get their point across.
For example - "Would a true Christian engage in activities that is primarily a source of satisfaction for homosexuals, such as anal and oral sex?"
They are very sly in never telling anyone not to do something but getting their point across

It IS going TOO far!
For that Uncle Thesis who tried to compare "robbing a bank" with what two consenting married adults do in bed and T C with his speeding car reference well, I guess they BOTH completely missed the point.
jessica was talking about sex between two consenting individuals who are looking out for each other, not reckless endangerment of other people's lives or money.
Talk about over-dramatic and irrelavant comparisons.
I am so happy I don't have any religion probing into MY husband and my bedroom. Cause we have a wild, good old time! As we SHOULD! LOL.

Why don't you drive your car 100 mph around every street corner since it can go at least that if not 120 mph. The more the better, the sky's the limit, just need the license first.

I can only speak for the Catholic Church. I am Catholic and had an apologetic study last year on moral issues. The Church teaches (from teh Bible, God's word) that sex, intercourse and anything that can lead up to intercourse, is for married couples. It is for making babies, of course, and also for a way to show your love to each other in the most intimate way. sex is the most personal act a couple can do together. Can we agree with this? Also, when a couple has sex, the husband is not to 'spill his seed', meaning he is not to withdrawal before ejaculating because this would be spilling his seed (sperm) on the ground and wasting what could have become a new life. God created our bodies with sperm and eggs for reproduction. If we aren't ready for a family or want more time between children, then we are to use the rhyme method. It is possible to learn and use. My grandparents did it that way, my parents did it that way and many of my cousins did it that way. Using birthcontrol stops life from coming into being. It's not like having an abortion because a life has already started but God prohibits us to use manmade methods to stop life if He deems it to be in existence. If a couple has sex and God doesn't deem them to have a child then, he will not have them get pregnant. Miracles can happen, you know.
As far as sex toys, the Church says using items to stimulate your spouse is fine as long as you don't ejeculate outside your wife. It can be used as foreplay. Anal sex is prohibited because the anus was not created for sex but only for ridding the body of waste. And I'm sure you know what the Bible says about gay sex and animal sex - forbidden; an abomination. Oral sex as a form of foreplay is okay as long as you don't ejaculate outside your wife as well.
Well, I think I hit all the marks of your question, as far as the Catholic Church teaches. It is true that God created our bodies in an unique way when it comes to sex. Male animals ejeculate to spread their seed but neither the male nor the female have organisms. Only human beings have those. But it's to be treated as a special, intimate and private and loving act between a married couple. This was since Adam and Eve. So if you disagree, you have to bring this up before God, not man. It's obvious that many men (& women) disagree and have done what they want. "If it feels good, do it". But just because something feels good, doesn't necessary mean it's right in God's rule and design for creation.

It is the responsibility of all of us to look after one another and to keep our way straight and true. I once attended a church that I thought was part of that path but then I learned that the pastor's wife had very unChristian views regarding sexual relations and I realized that she must have received her opinions from her husband so I stopped attending that church immediately. I have since gone elsewhere and now worship with an appropriate and correct community. We must all witness the truth. Sex is for a purpose and that purpose is procreation. If there is no intent to procreate then there is no reason for sex. Unnatural sex acts are forbidden because they cannot lead to procreation and they are dangerous and vile. These toys you write of serve no purpose beyond perverting the purpose of the sexual act and so they are forbidden. We are our brothers keeper and have a responsibility to them whether they want our help or not. That is why things like sodomy are illegal and cannot ever be consented to. To protect women from unnatural sexual abuse and keep God's law for all.

Well if you think it's no one's business, then why don't you let married adults choose for themselves what they will or will not do as it pertains to their religious beliefs.
