The S197 (05+) already has a HUGE aftermarket. V-6 or V-8, you can find all kinds of exhaust systems and cold air kits. I run a JLT intake with tune and a full mac exhaust system in my 06 Mustang GT.

Borla makes at least the exhaust part. I know Borla put one on a GT(40) and the GT(40) no longer passed smog, which is a major disaster in California. That's the kind of thing you need to know up front so you can have a backup plan. Also make sure whatever modifications you make, don't void the warrenty unless you don't care about the warrenty.
