I think the 15 - 28 year olds got to see people demanding rights that they do not deserve in a country that is not theirs and it made an impression I know this because I was one of those 15 - 28 year olds.
If the YA Immigration section today is any indication I think it will further anger the average American taxpayer.
Who demands rights from a country that is not your own? Rights are not given they are earned, how you earn this particular right is to become a citizen legally, not have it handed to you on a silver platter.

Ever since I was old enough to know exactly what taxes are, I've known that there was a problem. I grew up in a town with many MANY illegal immegrants. I think that the problem became more apparent to me when I began college. There were so many children of illegal immegrants that were able to attend college for FREE while my parents couldn't afford to send me and I received no state assistance... so yeah, I was working hard to go, and I still am. Even their behavior in general to everyone else was appalling. They ONLY spoke and hung out with other mexicans and illegal immigrants (In Spanish, of course). Anyways... that's another thing all together. Every time I see these rallies it makes me all the more angry. I hope that these borders are secured some-time soon. And as far as the solution to the problem, I think that it would be tough to just send them all back to Mexico, they don't belong here in the first place, but yeah. It's unrealistic. They SHOULD have to pay any back taxes that they owe, and the ones that have stolen identities should definately be deported with no return allowed. Man... it makes me mad just thinking about it. I just saw a lady on telivision say something to the effect of "All of the immegrants are really scared that they are going to get deported". Well... if they hadn't broken the law in the first place, they would not have anything to worry about! I sure hope that these borders will be secured some time soon!

Young ppl are realizing finally illegal immigrant are negative impact on their future.
They also know they commit a offense traffic violations, drinking , drugs or crimes and it goes on their records where nothing happens to an illegal yet they have the same benefits they do and pay no penalty for their wrong doing.
They realize illegals are get away with Identity theft which effect everyone yet nothing is done.
Many realize they are required to speak another language yet the illegal doesn't doesn't have to assimilate in anyway.
Young are also waking up to the fact that today's immigrants are nothing like their grandparents who migrated here years ago legally are good citizens and the ones that made this country great.

Its pretty hard 'not' to notice these days. Last year I get off work and just down the street the demonstration or march or whatever is getting overwith, saw alot of mexican flags, alot of signs talking about racists and that the southwest was stolen.
That and at least where I am if I go into a grocery store or a walmart or somethign like that it used to be just a once in awhile thing I would hear someone speakin spanish. Now its almost every single time and often quite a few people. Usually im sitting in line waiting because someone in line cant speak english and they are slowing up the line.

Boy this immigration section is hopping today!
I hope it will continue to build an inferno about the massive problem we have with these 20 to 30 million people that are breaking our laws (AKA criminals).
They are demanding things that are ridiculous! They have no right to demand anything.
The protests backfired last year. It only showed how we don't need them. I think they will backfire even more this year. We will again be shown how unimportant they are to our community.
People will again be livid when they see those Mexican flags being carried - I say some in the coverage of the Detroit protest.
People are upset and angry that they are demanding things and the fact that they are costing tax payers billions each year. $9 billion is spent each year just in CA. They are bankrupting the state!
We must save our country from economic ruin. NO AMNESTY OR 'GUEST WORKER PROGRAM!!?

The rallies will eventually backfire. Americans are a little sensitive about borders, especially in the wake of 9/11. The national coverage of the protests are making many Americans see just how bad the problem is, when before it was under the radar, so to speak, and only apparent in areas heavily inundated.
I'm glad the younger people are getting involved - this is their country, too.

Many things from reduced salaries to inflated real estate prices which they can afford because they pack people wall to wall drop off in standards of public education health care inflation,my health care has gone up almost 400% in ten years. It is going to be hard enough to support the baby boomers who worked hard their whole life and deserve it but we really cant afford these freeloaders.
